House of Ashes is the third instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology from Bandai Namco Entertainment and developed by Supermassive Games. If the other two in this series (Man of Medan, Little Hope) are anything to by House of Ashes will be action-packed and have jump scares galore.

In the shadow of the Zagros mountains, a US military unit comes under fire from Iraqi forces. The resulting firefight causes an earth tremor where both sides fall into the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple.

With all communication severed, our protagonists are trapped and must navigate a way to escape – unaware that something ancient and evil has awakened in the shadows and is hungry for blood. In this terrifying underworld, ask yourself who your real enemy is. The monsters hiding in the shadows or the other people trapped with you? Will, you set aside your rivalries to face a common enemy? Tough decisions will have to be made… and the consequences could be deadly.
