Who here has played Contra? I have so when this latest announcement came in I got excited. Contra Returns, a new addition to the legendary KONAMI run-and-gun action franchise Contra, is available for pre-registration on mobile devices. Developed by TiMi Studio Group and KONAMI, Contra Returns will hopefully bring a fresh twist to the iconic retro arcade shooter.
Players can pre-register on Google Play and the Apple Store to gain exclusive rewards. Contra Returns will be launching in North America on July 26th and coming soon in Europe.
Contra Returns: A familiar but fresh Contra
This new iteration brings fans of the franchise an authentic new take on the Contra series. This iteration has been enhanced with all-new graphics, gameplay upgrades, and more. New characters, storylines and customizable weapons allow players to unlock skills. With these skills, you can conquer the battlefield with the same thrill as the arcade originals.
Contra Returns offers over 200 levels. Not only that there are new game modes including One Life Mode, 1v1, and 3v3 modes. Other features include player and equipment upgrades as well as customization, and more. This will hopefully allow for the ultimate Contra experience.
