Jagex has revealed new details about the Kickstarter campaign for the RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg boardgame, including the three pledge levels and the rewards.
What is RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg?
RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg is a cooperative campaign board game. Players will explore the kingdoms of Asgarnia and Misthalin as an open world over multiple sessions. They will embark on quests and side quests. Players will level up skills, and encounter iconic bosses like TzTok-Jad and Elvarg.
More kingdoms and quests will be added by four expansions. Each one is themed around a different boss and includes iconic video game NPCs, such as the infamous Wise Old Man. Expansions will also introduce new game mechanics in the form of new skills.
- RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg will come to Kickstarter on May 31st, with a gamified campaign where backers vote to unlock cards — follow the Kickstarter campaign here
- Kickstarter will have three pledge levels: Core, Gameplay All-in & Deluxe All-in
- The campaign will include content exclusive to Kickstarter backers
- Four gameplay expansions confirmed
The three pledge levels mentioned above are vast and offer a lot to pledgers. It’s great for any fan of RuneScape. I know many who adore this game and to see it further expand is interesting.
