Fractured Veil, is a survival game in sunny Hawaii. The paradise-like landscape now ravaged by time, technology and mutants. Paddle Creek Games deliver this game to us on PC sometime in Q2 2022. Check out the teaser trailer below.
Fractured Veil is set one hundred years after a teleportation system failure caused a global apocalypse. Mutants now roam the once beautiful beaches and tropical forests. The sole survivors on this island are awoken in a shady tech facility. Explore, fight, and learn the mysteries of the island and if you happen to die along the way, don’t worry. The helpful tech facility will just clone you so you can be on your merry way again. The bad news: being killed by mutants still hurts!
Work along with the other cloned survivors to make the most of what’s available. There are over 64 square kilometres of map for you to explore for valuable resources, allies and loot. Build a shelter you can use as your home base. And protect it with upgradeable totems capable of protecting structures and hard-earned loot while offline. The devs want to put fun first for this game. So, don’t worry about losing any gear or hard work destroyed.
Fractured Veil combines the aspects of survival sims and MMORPGs to create an unpredictable social sandbox to explore. Fractured Veil will be available on PC via Steam Early Access in Q2 2022. A Kickstarter campaign is planned for Q3 2021.
