Fireshine Games and Emberstorm Entertainment have announced that the bewitching cottage-building adventure REKA will launch into Steam Early Access in August 2024.

Discover an early look at REKA’s enchanting adventure for yourself with a limited-time playable demo available during next week’s Steam Next Fest, and watch the brand new trailer premiered at the PC Gaming Show.

At launch, REKA’s Early Access release will include the opening chapters of the game, where players can take their first steps as an apprentice witch, using their newfound powers to set out on their adventure and begin building, customising, and decorating their walking cottage.

Discover a magical adventure as an aspiring slavic witch travelling the countryside with their chicken-legged home, that players can build, customise, and expand over the course of their adventure. Design and decorate your cottage with complete creative freedom, taking on quests to unlock new decorative items and make it your own in an atmospheric third-person exploration and house-building adventure.

Venture across an enchanting landscape with your living home, upgrading your cottage with additional rooms, furniture, items and mementoes. Take control of your customised chicken-legged house on a journey spanning diverse locations inspired by 19th-century Europe, forming an unbreakable bond as you explore new landscapes together, guided by Baba Jaga on an adventure across villages, mystical forests, and more.

REKA can be added to your Steam Wishlist now. For the latest updates on REKA, follow @emberstorm_de on X, follow @emberstorm_entertainment on TikTok, and join the community on Discord.
