KOEI TECMO Europe is gearing up to release the latest instalment of Samurai Warriors. Samurai Warriors 5 is scheduled to cut its way into our homes this summer. This instalment is currently under development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, the Xbox One consoles (playable on Xbox Series X|S via Backward Compatibility), and Windows PC via Steam. However, if any more platforms are announced we’ll be sure to keep you updated. 

Samurai Warriors 4 marked a change in the direction of the series’ art style. Delivering brighter colours, replacing the bland, dark battlefields and character designs of the earlier games. In addition, Samurai Warriors 5 looks to be continuing this trend. Taking the new vibrant art style as far as they can go. The latest instalment is poised to be a rebirth of the franchise. Including completely revamped character designs and a new stylish visual art style. In addition to a whole new storyline.

Hack ‘N Slash Heaven Does Exist

This instalment will launch players into the Sengoku period of Japan. The storyline of the game will mostly revolve around the characters Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi. And if you’re dying to get your hands on more information about Samurai Warriors 5, tune into the monthly live stream.

And while this live stream will be up and running on February 25th and there’ll be regular updates leading up to the game’s launch this summer. Therefore, expect plenty of more live streams to come. In conclusion, Samurai Warriors 5 is looking like a fun hack ‘n slash you don’t want to miss out on.
