The legend himself PAC-MAN is celebrating his 42nd birthday this year. To make this a memorable birthday, a new video game is releasing this week. Along with this release, there are several partnerships in culture and fashion and a new song and music video. PAC-MAN Museum+ will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ invites players to discover or revisit 14 titles in the legendary PAC-MAN series. There are even some in this collection that haven’t been available in years. In addition to the multiple PAC-MAN games that they will be able to play in their virtual arcade, players will be able to customize it with cabinets, decorations and memorabilia, before taking on the various in-game missions.
This adds a stellar element to this collection with players allowed to create their own unique shrine to the gaming icon.
Even more birthday surprises
To give the birthday boy his best possible birthday a new theme song and music video have also been released. Titled “We are PAC-MAN!”, and interpreted by Kaho Kidoguchi in Japanese and English, and Ann Una in Chinese. The song aims at promoting people cooperating and connecting together to live a healthy lifestyle.
Gamers in other genres of games can also get in on the fun too. Fortnite will welcome PAC-MAN themed cosmetics on June 2nd. This is a sweet love letter to PAC-MAN and allows people to fly their PAC-MAN flag high.
