Touken Ranbu Warriors is not only coming to PC via Steam, but a free demo of the game is also now available to play on both Steam and the Nintendo Switch. Touken Ranbu Warriors is currently available for pre-order and will be available across both platforms on the 24th of May.
What can players expect from the Touken Ranbu Warriors demo?
The demo features the main game’s prologue. This also includes 15 playable members of the Touken Danshi. That’s not all though. The save data from the demo can be carried over to the full version of the game. This will allow players the ability to seamlessly continue their journey for justice.
For those who love to capture memorable moments, players will be able to capture their favourite scenes of the demo in Photo Mode. From there you’ll be able to post them on Twitter. Three lucky fans who post a picture will be selected at random to receive a limited edition Touken Ranbu Warriors poster and a digital copy of the game on the platform of their choice.
As the game draws closer it will be interesting to see if it can pull all this promise off. If I’m being honest this sub-genre of game has been stale for a long time. Hopefully though with this new lore and these interesting new characters, there is hope for something engaging and fun.
