It has been one decade since a numbered release but that has not stopped the hype that has ignited in the gaming sphere with the release of the trailers and previews of Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon.

Hailing From renowned developers From Software, known for their Dark Souls series, which
popularised the “Souls-like” genre of games with a high difficulty ceiling. Their Armored Core
series focuses on Mech battles with high levels of customisations for the player to dive into.

In Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, players are asked to pop the bonnet of their personalised battle mech. They then fine-tune it for each mission they are about to take part in. Changing up their offence, defence and mobility to suit whatever challenges lay in wait for them. This is all before they undertake their next mission.

It’s been said in previews online, word of mouth in the community and from the developers themselves, this game is not “Dark Souls with giant robots” so do not expect that sort of experience going in.

What you can expect is a mission-based campaign with high levels of customisation, unmatched
art direction and level design that From Software is known for and delivers with each new
experience the team ships.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon releases on August 25th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Windows.
