Techland Publishing has announced that Arise: A Simple Story is now available as a digital download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Epic Games Store. A beautiful and deeply moving platform adventure game, Arise is Barcelona-based developer Piccolo Studio’s first game to ever be released.
Arise invites players to take the first step on a journey into the afterlife. The game is a heartfelt tale of an old man’s life, interwoven with love and loss, through the symbolic landscapes of his memories and a unique traversal mechanic that allows players to manipulate time in single-player or light cooperative play. As each chapter represents a pivotal moment from the protagonist’s past, Arise’s touching love story will take the old man—and the players themselves—on an impassioned emotional rollercoaster of empowering highs and visceral lows.
Arise: A Simple Story is artistically enchanting with beautiful landscapes and an emotional soundtrack composed by BAFTA Award-winning composer David García.
