The next video review with me ladies and gentlemen is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Unlike my Resident Evil Village review, I am a seasoned veteran when it comes to the adventures of Ratchet and Clank. These two brothers from different mothers have travelled their galaxy and beyond to protect everyone from the forces of evil. Now almost twenty years since we met them Ratchet and Clank are finding a new way to save the galaxy, by helping other galaxies in different dimensions.
In this brief introduction to my video, I will touch on the elements that I loved. The graphical beauty of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is unbelievable. The gameplay though familiar is still a ton of fun. Then there is the story. Seeing these two together again brought a surprising tear to my eye and seeing the power of their brotherhood empower another galaxy to fight back against a far more powerful nefarious force was inspiring.
Sadly not everything was perfect. Mainly glitches where I fell through the various worlds I visited annoyed me. Not only that I lost a limb or two while playing, as in Ratchet’s arm didn’t load in once or twice when I was playing.
