Graham was lucky to sit down with Dermott Burns, a young artist who works in the gaming industry as a 3D environment, concept and visual development artist. He has worked on new IPs and existing AAA titles including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. He also attended RENDR where he was a speaker.
Graham and Dermott talked about Dermott’s inspirations, his passions and how his mom pushed him in the right direction. Dermott was an absolute gent with his time and broke down his career from its beginnings to now. He was almost an engineer, until he understood that he could become an artist and still earn a living. It’s a great story.
