Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has confirmed today that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Nintendo Switch will be launched on the 22nd of September in Europe. This new version will include exclusive features developed for the Nintendo Switch such as motion control option during the battles, local ad-hoc multiplayer up to 6, local battle with 2 Joy-Con and 1 system and the chance to play wherever you want.
It’s great to see that the Nintendo Switch is growing its fledgling roster of games with some titles that have garnered a large fanbase in the last couple of years. It will be interesting to see how the game sizes up to its console partners. What will be the differences. what will be the superior aspects and the inferior aspects? It’s an exciting time to see all these imports come over to the Nintendo Switch to bolster its strength as it rises the through the ranks of the consoles in this supposed console war. I also wonder will there be any Nintendo Switch exclusives? What will be the after effects of the Dragon Ball Universe coming to the Nintendo Switch, might we see an amibo down the line?
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been available since 28th October 2016 in Europe, Middle-East, Australasia, and Africa for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be available on 22nd September 2017.
