Thrilling slash ’em up deck-building hybrid Book of Demons has received a limited physical release on Nintendo Switch through Super Rare. Only 4,000 copies total will ever be printed! The rare print physical release includes all the current content on its cart. As well as this, it has a full-colour manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.
For those of you who may not be familiar with Book of Demons, let me give you a quick rundown! Book of Demons is a deck-building hack and slash hybrid that lets you decide the length of your adventure. The game takes place in Paperverse, a world that exists entirely inside a pop-up book. While not totally a card game, items, spells, and skills are all expressed in card form.
Inspired by the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the first Diablo game, Book of Demons is part tribute, part parody of hack & slash classics.
