BArK, the interstellar animal adventure retro shoot ’em up from Tic Toc Games featured in a Nintendo Showcase early last year, is invading Earth on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on the 29th of July.

When our Solar System faces an invasion of aquatic cyborgs, four unlikely heroes rise in defense. Wearing powerful mech suits, Barker the Dog, Felicity the Cat, Lucio the Bear, and Marv the Rabbit each come equipped with special abilities encouraging cooperation.
Players can fly solo or form four-player squads in local co-op. BArk’s charming hand-animated, classic shmup combat was built for players of all skill levels. Side Car mode ensures downed players can stay in the fray by attaching to a surviving friend. For players looking for more of a challenge can face higher difficulties and strategically unleash super-powered combos and earn leaderboard-topping scores.
This kind of fun competitive nature will definitely bring gamers of all ages together to play BArk. The main factors are of course the charming graphics, energetic gameplay and the puppies! I will say though, the bear is pretty cool looking.
