SUNRISE and ORAL CIGARETTES have given fans a further peek at SCARLET NEXUS. This will be a further look at the franchise’s universe by means of the opening movie of the upcoming game. You can find it below.
SCARLET NEXUS allows the player to choose between 2 protagonists, Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall. As either one of them, you’ll have to uncover the mysteries of the Brain Punk future. Set in a time caught between technological prowess and abundant psychic abilities.
SCARLET NEXUS will release on the 25th of June on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. The anime for the franchise is also due to be released sometime this Summer.

Looking at the opening it is sadly somewhat generic looking. Hopefully, the gameplay will make up for it. After all, we’re being inundated with so many cyberpunk titles right now. I wonder what will allow SCARLET NEXUS to stand out among the pack? Maybe the characters with their weaponry will do it? Or it could be the story? Who knows.
